Wai Phyo Aung has worked for the BEAM Education Foundation from its beginning. He joined BEAM initially as a subject teacher for the higher education program. In 2014, he was promoted to Admin & Finance Coordinator, and in 2015, to Higher Education Program Coordinator. In July of 2019, he was promoted to the position of BEAM Education Foundation's Deputy Director. He received his Bachelor's degree from Bago University in Myanmar and his Master's degree from Payap University. Together with BEAM, he is committed to addressing the diverse requirements of marginalized people and empowering them to become community change agents.
