To make sure the website is safe, we use something called Single Sign-On (SSO) with Google SAML. This lets users get into many services and apps using their BEAM Google details. With SSO, employees can sign in to the employee-only website with their usual BEAM user details. This means they don't have to remember lots of logins for different things. This simpler login way helps us work better and lowers the risk of security problems tied to passwords.
SSO also helps manage who gets in. Managers can decide who can use certain apps and services, and they can easily stop access if someone leaves the organization or changes jobs. This makes sure things stay safe and controlled.
Here's how to log into BEAM-ERP using SSO with Google SAML:
1. Open your web browser and sign in to your BEAM Google account at https://account.google.com.
2. Look for the "Google Apps" icon in the top-right corner, a grid of nine squares. 𐄡 Click it.
3. Scroll down in the Google App Menu and click on "BEAM-ERP," our custom app.
4. This will open a new tab, taking you to https://online.beamedu.org (BEAM-ERP) for the thing you need.
5. Note that If you're already signed into the BEAM-ERP website through the app, you might get signed in again without clicking on the app. You can just go to https://online.beamedu.org directly in the same browser.
